Learn about Circadia’s SWiCH Dermal Rejuvenation Treatment
The SWiCH treatment is a multiple step process that allows the active ingredients to penetrate into the skin, switches on the skins repair mechanisms, and supplies energy for the repair process to fully complete.
SWiCH, Circadia’s signature treatment, is a unique alternative to chemical peels that takes advantage of the skin’s natural repair mechanism without causing damage. This treatment imparts an immediate boost to the look and feel of aging skin.
Down Time: Little to no downtime. In some instances, minor peeling or flaking may be present, but is not expected. However, a commitment to not using retinol and glycolic acid is required for the length of your SWiCH treatment plan.
Who is it for: Clients 37 and older dealing with loss of firmness, sagging skin, fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation, or clients over 37 who want to keep their skin youthful.
Why 37? (Because aging sucks!!!) Chronologically, this is when our skin cells start to work much harder to complete the same functions that they could do effortlessly in their youth. Our skin needs a boost in energy to get back to functioning optimally! (Think about it like your cup of coffee or tea in the morning. Without it, you are groggy, tired, and it just takes more energy to complete your daily tasks. The SWiCH is like morning coffee, for your skin!)
Treatment Plan: The SWiCH is best when in a 6 Treatment Series over 3 months. SWiCH treatments will be performed monthly (total of 3), with facials in between (two weeks in between each treatment, a total of 3). Treatment Steps are explained below.

Treatment
SWiCH: 1 hour
EPiPREP Solution: A relaxing process that starts energy production by removing dead skin and opening the channels of your skin to absorb acid into the deeper layers of skin loosening dead skin cells and creating microscopic holes into the top layers. There is no pain associated with this step.
SWiCH™ Solution: Combining Pyruvic and Succinic acid increases the energy level of cells and promotes the formation of new collagen and new cells. There is one minute of tingling that is often associated with chemical peels. This will immediately dissipate and there will be no discomfort, only a tight feeling similar to a chemical peel.
Fraction V: A solution that promotes mitochondrial activity, healing and softer skin. Apply Fraction V all over face and neck 30 minutes after the treatment.
Option 1: 2-Week Follow Up Facial (Single Treatment or Brightening Package) : 1 hour
Dermaplaning, Raspberry Enzyme Exfoliation, Microcurrent Therapy (or alternative if metal is present in the body from a surgery), and LED Light Therapy.
Why do I need a 2-Week Follow Up Facial?
With the SWiCH, you will see no peeling, light flaking may be present that will immediately disappear when you complete your skincare routine. With the boost of cellular regeneration, we need to perform a professional exfoliation to give you the best results. Dermaplaning is an amazing mechanical exfoliation that will not only leave your skin smooth but will increase the skin’s epidermal growth factors and improve texture. The Raspberry Enzyme will target pigmentation and release any dead skin cells and debris revealing fresh new skin. Microcurrent therapy will stimulate muscles to lift and firm, and LED will continue your cells energy production cycle and maintain optimal function.
How does the SWiCH™ work?
A scientific breakthrough that helps enhance mitochondrial function and restores skin’s youthful appearance. SWiCH™ Dermal Rejuvenation System performs beyond the results achievable with non-surgical peels.
SWiCH, Circadia’s signature treatment, is a unique alternative to chemical peels that takes advantage of the skin’s natural repair mechanism without causing damage. This treatment imparts an immediate boost to the look and feel of aging skin. Unlike most acid-based treatments, the SWiCH™ System is a leave-on system. The active ingredient remains to provide the continuous treatment for repair and restoration.
Maintenance
Monthly Corrective or Everything Facials are recommended after your Initial 3 Month SWiCH Program. SWiCH Treatments can then be repeated in place of your facial every 3 months. SWiCH treatments are great during the summer months as long as you practice sun safety.
Required Home Care for Maintenance & Best Results:
Use the Vitamin Veil Cleanser during the AM and PM to cleanse off oil and debris. Rinse with water and pat dry. A second cleanser will be recommended if needed.
Use the Vitamin C Reversal Serum in the AM and PM after cleansing.
Use Light Day Sunscreen or Circa-Shield in AM and reapply.
Use Cyto-Comm after the Vitamin C in the PM to aid in repair and restructure.
Use Revita-Cyte Complex in the PM after the Cyto-Comm for skin to appear firmer, smoother and promote Vitamin D Expression.
The Philosophy behind SWiCH™
For over 40 years chemical peeling has been practiced by physicians to rejuvenate sun damaged skin. Both intrinsic and extrinsic aging changes have been the object of many types of skin peeling including chemical, mechanical and thermal modalities. The common thread tying these methods together is the ability of the skin to heal itself when damaged. All of these methods produce some degree of tissue destruction, which incites the natural repair process within the skin. Consistent damage to the epidermis, however, may lead to more serious side effects. With the SWiCH™ System, it is now possible to achieve repair of the skin using a more restorative method.
